AI × HR tech leader Human Consulting Group (HCG, CEO Park Jae-hyun) announced on the 11th that, amid ongoing debate on reforming the comprehensive wage system, demand for companies to re-examine their HR systems is increasing. Establishing accurate working-hour calculations and transparent wage-management frameworks is emerging as an important task for both employers and employees.

Companies are increasingly reassessing the structural adequacy of HR operations, including △objectivity and accuracy of working-hour records, △pre-approval processes for overtime and holiday work, △pay-calculation criteria by working arrangement, and △payroll automation. With diverse working arrangements and pay components in place, verifying whether legacy HR systems sufficiently reflect these realities has become a critical checkpoint.
To prepare for potential policy changes, companies are looking for platforms that can flexibly absorb updates to rules and regulations. Standard, one-size-fits-all solutions have difficulty capturing the full specifics of each industry, job function, and organization.
HCG's HR platform JaDE is built to respond to these changes, reflecting much of a company's legal requirements and policy characteristics through system configuration alone. Within a single system, JaDE delivers integrated core HR functions—attendance, payroll, reviews, requests, and approvals—and allows various pay items and working arrangements to be combined, enabling automated calculation aligned with each company's payroll rules. It also supports overtime pre-approval and electronic approval workflows, along with integration with attendance methods such as fingerprint recognition, access cards, and PC-OFF. Together these capabilities improve the accuracy of working-time management and pay calculation while providing the flexibility to reflect policy changes in the system quickly.
Additional features—such as real-time monitoring of working-hour overruns, automated attendance request/approval flows, and data integration for verification—help reduce HR practitioners' review and settlement workload.
Hur Wook, Executive Vice President of HCG, said, "The debate around the comprehensive wage system is prompting companies to examine how accurately and transparently they manage working time. Given that industries, company sizes, and organizational structures all vary, HR platforms that can flexibly capture each company's own rules and operating practices will become even more essential."......(hereafter omitted.)
