Korea's leading K-HR tech company Human Consulting Group (HCG) announced on the 11th that it has been awarded the HR system implementation project for Korea Power Exchange. Following the Korean Red Cross project in July, HCG once again secures a public-sector win, proving its competitiveness in the e-HR market.
This contract reflects a comprehensive evaluation of HCG's strengths accumulated over more than 20 years, including △HR consulting and implementation experience, △security certifications and operational stability, △maintenance infrastructure, △industry reputation, and △proven public-sector deployments for organizations such as Korea Southern Power, the National Health Insurance Service, and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund.
HCG will build Korea Power Exchange's HR system using its proprietary e-HR solution, hunel. Designed on the foundation of HCG's HR consulting expertise and numerous enterprise-scale implementations, hunel integrates the full spectrum of HR operations—from hiring to evaluation, compensation, and organizational management—on a single platform.
Through this new HR system, Korea Power Exchange plans to establish a modern IT-based framework and secure a foundation for proactively responding to changing internal and external environments. The organization also intends to redefine business processes to reduce unnecessary administrative workload and further enhance the timeliness of issue response and decision-making. In addition, the system is expected to support integrated HR management information, contribute to national digital transformation and the Digital Platform Government initiative, and advance the digital transformation of power-system operations.
This project will be carried out as a consortium between HCG and Youngrimsoft Lab. Through their collaboration, the two companies will digitize Korea Power Exchange's legacy ERP and build a next-generation integrated ERP system covering enterprise-wide management functions, including HR, finance, and budgeting.
Kim Young-man, COO (Executive Vice President) of HCG hunel, stated, "Public institutions require not only strict regulatory compliance but also a high level of security, making it essential to go beyond simple system implementation and deliver integrated capabilities that include data governance and risk management. HCG has accumulated differentiated expertise to meet these demands, and we will continue to contribute to realizing HR digital transformation across a wide range of sectors."......(hereafter omitted.)
