HCG News
Human Consulting Group (CEO Jaehyun Park, hereinafter HCG), a leading AI x HR tech company, announced on the 29th that it successfully held its HR AI conference 'GROUND ONE' on the 28th at the Harmony Ballroom of The Westin Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
Some 530 HR leaders and practitioners from Korean companies, including Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs), attended the event. HCG examined how the HR work environment is changing in the AI era and presented new standards for 'AI x HR' operations. On site, HCG also gave a hands-on demo of its in-house HR-specialized AI agent 'elizax' and unveiled its future technology vision.
HCG Chief Product Officer (CPO) Seungah Baek delivered the keynote under the theme 'Redefining the Standard for AI × HR.' As the goal for HR AI, Baek presented a 'Value Triangle' in which ▲trust in judgment · execution ▲completeness of task processing ▲practical utility reinforce one another. Her explanation was that the experience of AI handling a task through to the end builds trust, and as the scope of use widens on that trust, utility grows as well. She also stressed that securing the trustworthiness of HR AI requires an HR system in which the organization's data has accumulated, along with the know-how to understand the organization's work context, and introduced the background behind the development of elizax.
The 'ChatHRT' session looked at the current state of AI adoption and the challenges companies face, based on responses from HR leaders and practitioners who took part in a pre-event survey. The showcase that followed demonstrated how elizax works in response to the expectations and concerns of practitioners identified in the survey. HCG demonstrated how five agents, ▲Assistant ▲Talent ▲Performance ▲Workflow ▲Skill, carry out tasks and how they work together.
The Assistant agent answered inquiries on the basis of company policy and processed benefits requests. When an employee did not meet the eligibility requirements, it explained the reason and suggested alternatives, and it adjusted the scope of its answers according to the user's permissions. The Workflow agent showed how it automatically distributes tasks by department, requests confirmation in exceptional cases that require a human decision, and records the processing history. The Performance agent demonstrated how it detects signals the organization might miss and provides tailored information, from goal setting through evaluation, according to the user's permissions and role.
In finding talent and managing capabilities, HCG emphasized the grounds for analysis and the links between agents. The Talent agent presented the grounds for its talent recommendations based on skill match rates and experience with similar projects. The Skill agent diagnosed individual and organizational capabilities and suggested growth paths, and HCG also showed how skill data is used in the Talent agent's talent search.
The 'Next Agent' session presented a vision of the future in which every member of an organization works alongside a 'Personal Agent' acting on their behalf. In this concept, personal agents use the five work agents within delegated permissions and communicate with other members' agents to handle confirmation · approval · coordination tasks. HCG also introduced its blueprint for an 'Agent OS,' in which collaboration between agents and work context accumulate and develop into the foundation for running work across the entire organization.
In addition, science communicator Gweodo took the stage as a guest speaker to deliver a special lecture on 'In the AI Era, How Should People Change?' After the talks and sessions, a dinner · networking session followed, where the attending HR leaders and practitioners shared their experiences in running HR and the challenges of adopting AI.
An official at Human Consulting Group said, "GROUND ONE was a chance to listen to the concerns of the HR field and show concretely how elizax can solve them," adding, "We will continue to closely follow changes in HR work and the voices of practitioners, and keep up our R&D and support so that AI can take root in the HR field."
