CG Opens 'Yangjae Center' R&D Hub to Strengthen AI-Based HR

April 16, 2026 — Human Consulting Group (CEO Park Jae-hyun, hereinafter "HCG"), a leader in AI × HR tech, has declared the strengthening of its AI-based HR solution competitiveness as a core priority and launched a large-scale organizational transformation. On the 16th, HCG announced that it has established an integrated R&D hub, the "Yangjae Center," in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, and will concentrate its capabilities on embedding AI technology across its entire suite of services.

The HCG Yangjae Center was established to proactively respond to the spread of generative AI and the advancement of HR tech, and to further systematize the company's R&D capabilities. R&D organizations — including those behind HCG's flagship HR solution "hunel" and its HR SaaS platform "talenx," as well as the company-wide AI control tower, the "AI×HR R&D Center" — will be integrated and operated under Chief Product Officer (CPO) Baek Seung-a, centered on the Yangjae Center.

Building on this integrated R&D framework, HCG plans to streamline its development processes and further strengthen execution. In particular, by clarifying the consistency of its product roadmap and the priorities of its technology investments, the company expects to improve the speed, quality, and feature completeness of service development, while maximizing technical synergy across its HR solutions through cross-team collaboration in a unified space.

The Yangjae Center will serve as a key hub for accelerating the integration of AI technology into HCG's HR solutions. The strategy is to elevate product competitiveness around ▲HR operations automation ▲data-driven decision-making ▲improved user experience, and to secure an edge across HR solution markets of every scale — from large enterprises to mid-sized and small businesses — by delivering differentiated AI features that raise the accuracy and efficiency of HR operations.

Centered on the AI×HR R&D Center established in April 2025, HCG has steadily advanced its "AI-based HR transformation." Its flagship solution, hunel, is equipped with the "AI HR Assistant," a service that retrieves HR information — such as leave requests, department details, pay statements, and estimated severance pay — and automatically drafts documents. Going forward, HCG plans to add models capable of answering natural-language queries to support AI talent search, an AI HR dashboard, and AI agents for evaluation, attendance, payroll, and year-end tax settlement.

HCG's talenx provides features in which AI analyzes HR and performance data and helps employees set their goals. These features summarize performance, feedback, and evaluation data to support leaders' decisions on evaluation, compensation, and development. In particular, the "AI Feedback Analysis" feature applies HCG's patented "AI-based sentiment analysis technology" to visualize the positive and negative tendencies of feedback along with key keywords, enabling an intuitive read of an individual's strengths and areas for improvement.
