HCG Expands AI Across Every HR Domain, Emerging as an AI×HR Innovation Leader

AI × HR tech leader Human Consulting Group (HCG, CEO Park Jae-hyun) announced on the 20th that it is accelerating AI innovation across every area of HR, led by the AI×HR R&D Center, which serves as the company-wide AI control tower.

 

 

For 24 years, HCG has led the Korean HR industry across consulting, e-HR solutions, and payroll outsourcing. After launching the AI×HR R&D Center in April this year, the company is now driving a full-scale "AI HR transformation."

 

The center works closely with HCG's flagship solutions—hunel and talenx—to upgrade HR processes on a data-driven foundation.

 

hunel is evolving into an automation-driven HR platform with its new 'AI HR Assistant'. The assistant lets users look up HR information—such as leave requests, department details, payroll slips, and expected severance—and automatically generate documents. Next year, it is expected to handle natural-language queries such as "Recommend a developer suitable for the sales team," further enhancing user convenience. Permission management per agent also fine-tunes query scope and feature access, reinforcing both security and accuracy.

 

Going forward, HCG plans to introduce in hunel, sequentially, △AI talent search, △an AI HR dashboard, and △AI agents for evaluation, attendance, payroll, and year-end tax adjustment, expanding HR-service automation.

 

Meanwhile, the HR SaaS platform talenx has completed a proof-of-concept (PoC) of its AI-based performance-management and evaluation features on the front lines. AI recommends personalized goals for each employee and summarizes performance and review results for team leads and executives, shortening decision-making time—capabilities validated at a level usable in real enterprise settings. talenx also operates the 'AI Feedback Analysis' feature, built on the AI-based sentiment analysis technology patent-filed earlier this year, which visualizes positive/negative tendencies and key keywords in feedback so that talent strengths and development areas become intuitively clear.

 

HCG is building an "AI Powered HR" ecosystem that delivers operational efficiency for HR practitioners, data-driven decision-making for leaders, and personalized HR experiences for employees. The AI×HR R&D Center is collaborating with business units on next-generation features and plans to complete an integrated AI framework spanning the entire HR journey.
