AI × HR tech leader Human Consulting Group (HCG, CEO Park Jae-hyun) announced on the 8th that it has been awarded the HR system implementation project for McDonald's Korea.
HCG will build McDonald's Korea's HR system using its proprietary e-HR solution, hunel. The project is significant as an integrated HR platform designed around the organizational characteristics and workforce operating environment of a global restaurant franchise that operates more than 400 stores across Korea. McDonald's Korea plans to unify every HR area on a single platform—simultaneously advancing employee experience, data-driven HR operations, and enhanced security and regulatory compliance.
Key pillars of this implementation include △building an integrated HR platform with bidirectional integration to external systems such as the employee app, △delivering HR dashboards and analytics based on standardized HR data and an analytics framework, △applying a security model compliant with the Personal Information Protection Act and ISMS standards, △ensuring a reliable transition through analysis of legacy system features and data migration, and △improving mobile and web-based UX/UI. Through these, McDonald's Korea aims to enhance HR-data consistency and usability, and systematically link HR-data flows between the field and headquarters.
hunel, HCG's proprietary e-HR solution, offers HR management capabilities optimized for large enterprises and group affiliates, grounded in more than 20 years of HR consulting and system implementation experience. It reliably supports environments characterized by large-scale workforce management, complex work/pay structures, and numerous field sites operating simultaneously.
hunel is also evolving into an automated HR platform with the addition of its 'AI HR Assistant,' automating repetitive HR tasks—such as leave requests, payroll-slip inquiries, and HR-information lookups—to boost convenience for both field staff and managers. Going forward, HCG plans to sequentially extend AI features into areas such as AI talent search, HR dashboards, evaluation, attendance, payroll, and year-end tax settlement.
Kim Young-man, COO (Executive Vice President) of HCG hunel, said, "In an environment where many stores and short-term workers operate simultaneously, an HR system must go beyond a simple management tool and serve as the foundation for field operations. This project demonstrates that standardization and flexibility can be delivered together, even within complex workforce structures."......(hereafter omitted.)
