Human Resource Management (HR) is one of the crucial elements that companies must pay attention to, as it directly impacts work efficiency and productivity. As a result, many companies seek consultation from experts or apply global trends and best practices to establish their HR policies.
However, even after establishing HR policies, some companies struggle to implement them effectively. Park Jae-hyun, CEO of Human Consulting Group (HCG), points out that this is often due to HR policies that do not reflect the company's environment or the lack of tools to execute these policies. This challenge was the driving force behind the founding of HCG.
Since its establishment in 2001, HCG has provided HR consulting and human resource management (e-HR) solutions customized for Korea local companies. Having worked at a global HR consulting firm, CEO Park noticed that global solutions and best practices were not fit to use Korean companies. This realization led him to develop e-HR solutions customized to the local corporate environment, systems, and practices, which have been well received by clients.
Currently, HCG's e-HR solutions are used by over 800 companies and 700,000 users.
Recently, HCG introduced its new SaaS e-HR solution, talenx, which integrates the company’s HR expertise with cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and cloud computing. talenx is an all-in-one solution that includes all HR-related functions and is designed to quickly adapt to the rapidly changing HR environment and policies, while also enhancing the user experience (UX) for employees. HCG plans to dominate the domestic HR market and expand into the global market through its existing on-premises solutions, hunel and JaDE, alongside the SaaS solution talenx.
I had the opportunity to speak with CEO Park Jae-hyun about HCG, talenx, and trends in the HR industry......(omitted hereafter)
